Seeing Is Simple
Seeing, in itself, is simple.
You do not have to become a different person before you can see differently.
You do not have to perfect yourself.
You do not have to become more spiritual, more disciplined, or more evolved.
Seeing is not something you need to manufacture.
It is already available to you.
And yet, if it were always easy to see, we would not spend so much of our lives repeating the same fears, conflicts, judgments, and patterns.
So perhaps the difficulty is not in seeing itself.
Perhaps it lies in what stands between us and clear seeing.
A thought we cannot question.
An emotion we have learned to avoid.
A fear that feels too important to disturb.
A deeply held belief.
A wound.
A spiritual idea we have mistaken for truth.
Something held not only in the mind, but more deeply—in the way we have learned to experience and respond to life.
These things do not make you incapable of seeing.
They simply become layers through which you are currently looking.
And those layers can be met.
Not all in the same way
Not all at once.
Sometimes through inquiry.
Sometimes through feeling.
Sometimes through stillness.
Sometimes through whatever allows the next layer to become visible.
